Tips

#1 : Forward Stance

To acheive a good forward stance, the front leg should be bent with the front knee ideally above the toes. The back leg should be straight wih the back foot pointing as forward as possible. The back and neck should be straight with the head pointing straight forward; eyes focused on imaginary opponent in front. Feet should be shoulder-width apart. Weight should be 60% on front leg, 40% on rear. For Gedanbarai, back fist over hip and front arm blocking just above knee.
